Abstract:

In the long-term, emotional problems can lead to numerous different functional problems in the body. According to the French osteopath Jean-Pierre Barral, emotions that are not properly worked up affect mainly the internal organs, whereby there is a connection between certain emotions and specific organs. Assuming that the patient is mentally stable, the emotional treatment according to Barral can be integrated well into osteopathy and can also help to release tension on this level.
