Abstract:

The following article describes the practical experiences with osteopathic treatment of patients with chronical headache. It provides a list with reasons for a comprehensive first exploration and a list with key elements for a successful treatment. The author advises against a selective and rational perception during anamnesis and treatment. A specific osteopathic treatment plan does not exist, but there are typical osteopathic findings, that should always be evaluated in context with the personality of the specific patient.

Der Artikel beschreibt die Erfahrungen mit der osteopathischen Behandlung chronischer Kopfschmerzpatienten. Er listet die Gründe für ein ausführliches Erstanamnesegespräch auf sowie Faktoren, die für den Behandlungserfolg relevant sind. Von einer selektiv rationalisierten Wahrnehmung während der Untersuchung und Behandlung wird abgeraten. Zwar gibt es keine spezifische osteopathische Kopfschmerzbehandlung, aber typische osteopathische Befunde, die nur im Kontext mit der jeweiligen Patientenpersönlichkeit gewertet und gedeutet werden können.
