Abstract:

Although Biodynamics has the same origin as the technic-oriented osteopathy, it is in some aspects very different. The goal of biodynamics is the awareness of wholeness. As wholeness is given every moment, it has not to be constructed any more. So the only way to the awareness of the whole is sensing. The force, that is leading to the development and growth of the organs during embryogenesis, is according to biodynamics the same force that is allowing self healing in the adult. We can not sense this force, that created us and let us grow, therefore we need to use our mental abilities in order to approach this dimension. The following article is dealing with biodynamical, embryological and phenomenological aspects of sensing the whole.

Obwohl sich die biodynamische Osteopathie direkt aus der Osteopathie heraus entwickelt hat, unterscheidet sie sich deutlich von vielen anderen osteopathischen Ansätzen, deren Hauptaugenmerk auf der Anwendung von Techniken liegt. Ziel der Biodynamik ist die Erfahrung der Ganzheit. Da die Ganzheit zu jeder Zeit gegeben ist, kann sie zwar spezifisch wahrgenommen, aber niemals gemacht werden. Deshalb ist jede Tätigkeit überflüssig. Eine Annäherung an das Ganze kann demzufolge nur über die Wahrnehmung stattfinden. Die gleiche Kraft, die in der embryologischen Entwicklung zur Ausbildung und zum Wachstum aller Organe führt, bewirkt in der Biodynamik die Selbstheilung. Weil man die Kraft, die uns schafft und wachsen lässt, nicht spüren kann, müssen wir uns dieser Dimension auf geistiger Ebene nähern. Im Folgenden werden biodynamische, embryologische und phänomenologische Überlegungen zur Wahrnehmung gegenübergestellt und diskutiert.
