Abstract:

In Germany 108 of 132 statutory health insurance companies refund osteopathic treatment pro rata. Although the prerequisites of this new benefit seem to be the same for most of these companies the overview chart clearly shows differences regarding the approval of healthcare providers, their professional associations as well as the total amount of the reimbursement.

Von 132 gesetzlichen Krankenkassen in Deutschland erstatten gegenwärtig 108 anteilig Osteopathie. Auch wenn die Voraussetzungen dieser zusätzlichen Leistung bei den meisten Kassen gleich erscheinen, zeigt die tabellarische Übersicht deutliche Unterschiede in der Anerkennung von Leistungserbringern, deren Berufsverbände ebenso wie in der Höhe der anteiligen Erstattung.
