Abstract:

An 82-year-old patient visited the consultation hour with therapy-resistant radicular pain in the right leg due to an L5 spondyloslisthesis with consecutive spinal canal stenosis. Surgical decompression was contraindicated for cardiac reasons. With five osteopathic holistic treatments, the pain was well reduced and the quality of life was restored.

Ein 82 Jahre alter Patient stellte sich mit therapieresistenten radikulären Schmerzen im rechten Bein bei einer Spondylolisthese L5 mit konsekutiver Spinalkanalstenose vor. Eine operative Dekompression war aus kardialen Gründen kontraindiziert. Mit 5 osteopathischen ganzheitlichen Behandlungen konnten die Schmerzen gut reduziert und die Lebensqualität wieder hergestellt werden.
