Abstract:

Chronic pain caused by adenomyosis is among the most difficult symptoms to treat in gynecology. The prolonged duration of suffering and the associated psychosocial burdens call for an integrative approach to therapy. This qualitative study focuses on interpretive phenomenological analysis (IPA). It examines how interbody resonance and osteopathic treatment concepts synergistically address physical, emotional, and social dimensions. The results suggest that gender-sensitive and person-centered osteopathy can improve quality of life. (translated by Ostlib)

Adenomyosebedingte chronische Schmerzen zählen zu den am schwierigsten behandelbaren Symptomen im gynäkologischen Bereich. Die lange Leidenszeit und die psychosozialen Belastungen verlangen nach einem integrativen Therapieverständnis. Die vorliegende qualitative Studie legt den Fokus auf die interpretative phänomenologische Analyse (IPA). Sie analysiert, wie zwischenleibliche Resonanz und osteopathische Behandlungskonzepte körperliche, emotionale und soziale Dimensionen synergistisch adressieren. Die Ergebnisse legen nahe, dass eine genderbewusste und personenorientierte Osteopathie die Lebensqualität verbessern kann.
