Abstract:

Psychotherapy is an essential element in therapy of chronic pain. But what is it exactly? In this article we will explain different therapeutic procedures like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as the actual application of these therapies in the different sectors of our health system. Regardless of these procedures the bio-psycho-social model of chronic pain forms the basis of multidisciplinary pain management. In diesem Artikel werden die verschiedenen Verfahren von kognitiver Verhaltenstherapie bis hin zur Achtsamkeitstherapie sowie die konkrete Anwendung in den verschiedenen Sektoren erklärt. Verfahrensunabhängig wird zudem das bio-psycho-soziale Modell als Grundlage der interdisziplinären Therapie herangezogen.
