Abstract:

With this article we would like to encourage the osteopathic community to develop a culture of hands-on laboratory work. The aim of the laboratory is to develop clinically relevant experience. The osteopathic lab is a group process, were we treat and reflect on the outcomes. In our article we describe procedures and concepts of laboratory work and we point to the importance of collective decision-making processes – like jury deliberation and decernment – for the development of osteopathy.
