Abstract:

Miscarriages are not uncommon, a minimum of 20 % of all pregnancies are affected. Depending on the course of the pregnancy and the circumstances of the misbirth different interventions are possible/required. Likewise, the time after a miscarriage is experienced very differently and goes a long with a variety of complications. In the osteopathic practice we are also confronted with couples after the loss of a child and can contribute to supporting them in their situation.
