Abstract:

The notion of Fulcrum as used in the aquatic environment is discussed. A classification and sorting of different types of Fulcrum as well as their particular use is also addressed. Two main categories have been defined as Therapeutic and Physiological Fulcrums. Within these 2 categories we will find many sub-categories of Fulcrum from which the Osteopath has to carefully select depending on the type of lesion to be corrected.

Der vorliegende Artikel beschäftigt sich mit dem Fulkrumbegriff und dem Einsatz von Fulkren in der Aquatischen Osteopathie. Die unterschiedlichen Fulkren werden klassifiziert und verschiedene Arten sowie deren spezifische Anwendung beschrieben. Als Hauptkategorien wurden therapeutische und physiologische Fulkren definiert. Innerhalb dieser zwei Kategorien gibt es viele Subkategorien an Fulkren, die der Osteopath je nach Art der Läsion
