Abstract:

Posture is no accident; it is rather the product of very complex pedo–cranial control systems, which are formed statically and dynamically via existing myofascial connections of the whole locomotor apparatus. The sensory functions of heel and sole are important for the efferent control of the muscles of the foot and the subordinate, cranially directed skeletal order. Therefore, the foot is extremely important as the basis of the erect gait in the therapy of symptoms of the whole locomotor apparatus.

Körperhaltung ist kein Zufall, sondern das Produkt höchst komplexer pedokranialer Regelsysteme, die statisch und dynamisch über bestehende myofasziale Verbindungen des gesamten Bewegungsapparates entstehen. Die Sensorik von Ferse und Fußsohle ist dabei entscheidend für die efferente Steuerung der Fußmuskulatur und der nachgeordneten, kranialwärts gerichteten skelettalen Ordnung. Als Basis der Aufrichtung kommt dem Fuß daher in der Therapie von Beschwerdebildnern des gesamten Bewegungsapparates eine herausragende Bedeutung zu.
