Abstract:

The article sets out to describe basic requirements for a psychosomatic approach: relating to our psychological interpretation of manual diagnosis, indicating how to distinguish between somatic expression and psychological experience, between symptoms and symbols; to emphasize the significance of the therapist's ”holding ability and to increase his/her awareness of counter-transference; reflecting the process of constructing truth and reality in the therapeutic setting.

Der Artikel beschäftigt sich mit den Grundlagen der osteopathischen Psychosomatik: der Anbindung an die manuelle Differenzialdiagnostik; der notwendigen Unterscheidung von Somatisierung und psychischem Erleben, Symptom und Symbol; der Bedeutung der therapeutischen Haltung des Holdings; dem Bewusstmachen der Gegenübertragung und der Konstruktion des gegenwärtig Vergangenen in der therapeutischen Situation.
