Abstract:

Objective: Studies evaluating the efficiency of osteopathic care of the cephalic area in the context of myopia among adults showed interesting results. We aim to realize a comparative study to evaluate the impact of global osteopathic treatment on the myopia of young adult patients. Methods: We plan to recruit 60 patients suffering from a myopia between -0.5 to -6 dioptries, randomized in two groups of 30. The treatment group will receive three osteopathic treatments; the control group will receive no treatment. The judgment criterion will be the Landolt ring test for visual acuity, realized before and after treatment.
