Abstract:

Summary Influencing the autonomic nervous system (ANS) is a major goal in osteopathic treatment. Several access paths exist, based on the organization of the ANS and the possibilities linked with the osteopathic manual therapy (OMT). Beside the fact that treatment of the ANS is always based on creating afferent stimuli to get a specific efferent answer the treatment starts with the establishment of a sustainable patient relationship.

Die Beeinflussung des autonomen Nervensystems (ANS) ist ein wichtiges Ziel der osteopathischen Behandlungen. Basierend auf der Organisation des ANS und den therapeutischen Möglichkeiten der osteopathischen manuellen Therapie (OMT) existieren hierfür mehrere Zugangswege. Ungeachtet der Tatsache, dass die Behandlung des ANS stets auf der Entwicklung spezifischer afferenter Stimuli zur Beeinflussung efferenter Reaktionen basiert, beginnt die Behandlung mit der Entwicklung einer tragfähigen Patientenbeziehung.
