Abstract:

Disturbances showing a somatic, visceral and autonomic reflex pattern appear to cause a specific reflex pattern in the locomotive system. Functional techniques can detect this pattern. The findings obtained by palpation are always laterally reversed in neighbouring thoracic segments: cosal dysfunctions lead to a horizontal adaptation, secondary dysfunctions do not however cross the mid-line. Symmetrical diseases also indicate the occurrence of connected phenomena of the same nature.
