Abstract:

The cardiovascular system and heart provide information on vitality. Familiarity with the embyrological development of the heart aids in understanding the significance of the cardiac skeleton. The cardiac skeleton ensures function of the cardiovascular system and is an expression of the same. Osteopathic cardiac treatment is a fundamental part of pediatric osteopathy. Special techniques for the cardiac skeleton are efficient, providing the best overview of the cardiac entity, and they should precede other general therapeutic applications.
