Abstract:

Dissipative structures are stable, non-equilibrium states of open systems, such as living beings, that represent variable „scopes” for the states of somatic functions. Decompensation states are states of contradictory compensation states of somatic functions. Osteopathic treatments recompensates these states to dissipative structures. Osteopathic medicine is dissipative medicine, which, based on the entropic principle, supports freedom of change in somatic functions with individual, flow-balanced movements for a feeling of coherence and well-being.
