Abstract:

The sudden death of a friend and the subsequent time of grieving leſt a signifi cant impression on the author, an osteopath in training. He experienced how it feels to be forced into a stillpoint from the outside, to be shiſt ed off midline and to have lost his internal rhythm. These experiences help him with categorizing occurrences in the craniosacral system, and to develop models of explanation. Today the author utilizes his experiences for helping and accompanying people, who are approaching their limits of strain and distress, or even have gone beyond their capacities to handle them. Being a musician and a hobby photographer he connects his biodynamic understanding with music and visual support.
