Abstract:

Osteopathic medicine embraces (manual) diagnostics and therapy of dysfunctions, consecutive pain syndromes and states of inhibited mobility- arising from disturbances in the musculoskeletal system. Indications for osteopathic treatment include above all acute and chronic pain of the locomotor system as well as secondary visceral dysfunction with a reflectory inner organ genesis.
