Abstract:

From the beginning, infants are also viscerally active. Sucking, digesting and excreting characterize the first months of life and form the sensomotor basis for the further development together with inhaling and exhaling. Visceral dysfunctions like colics, flatulence, and an insufficient pyloric function often have local causes and can be treated locally by osteopathy. Visceral dysfunctions can also manifest themselves in a somatic loss of motion.

Säuglinge sind von Beginn an auch viszeral aktiv. Saugen, verdauen und ausscheiden bestimmen die ersten Lebensmonate und bilden gemeinsam mit dem Ein– und Ausatmen die sensomotorische Basis für die weitere Entwicklung. Viszerale Dysfunktionen wie Koliken, Blähungen und eine unzureichende Pylorusfunktion haben oft lokale Ursachen und lassen sich osteopathisch lokal behandeln. Viszerale Dysfunktionen können sich zudem in somatischen Bewegungseinschränkungen äußern.
