Abstract:

Dr. Francesco Cerritelli is an osteopath and PhD neuroscientist and is considered one of the most active and respected researchers in the field of osteopathy. He is president of the Centre for Osteopathic Medicine (C.O.ME Collaboration), a non-profit organization whose goal is to network research groups and assist them in promising projects. His areas of research include mechanisms of touch, placebo effects, and more recently, neonatology.
