Abstract:
Examination of the spinal column covers not only the investigation of chemical, mechanical, neurological and vascular risk factors in order to exclude contraindications, but also the segmental functional diagnostic examination of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine and sacrum. Loss of movement in an individual segment may well be caused by trauma, whereas groups of lesions usually present as a result of visceral dysfunction.
