Abstract:

The supraspinatus muscle runs epinural to the shoulder joint and encourages the coaptation from the head of the humerus into the articular fossa. The article describes the anatomy and function of this muscle as well as techniques to restore the mobility between the musle and the aponeurosis in supine position and lateroposition. Further on, techniques for the supraspinato-acrominal sulcus, the muscular insertion at the greater tubercle of the humerus and at the subacromial bursa are described. Also skin techniques are mentioned briefly.

Der oberhalb der Schulter verlaufende Musculus supraspinatus unterstützt die Koaptation des Humeruskopfes in der Gelenkpfanne. Der Artikel beschreibt die Anatomie und Funktion des Muskels sowie Techniken in Seiten- und Rückenlage zur Wiederherstellung der Mobilität zwischen Muskel und Aponeurose, im Sulcus supraspinato-acromialis, am Ansatz am Tuberculum majus und an der Bursa subacromialis. Auch Hauttechniken werden kurz erwähnt.
