Abstract:

Abstract oribinal language: Wer in deutschen Städten nach osteopathischer Hilfe sucht, der wird leicht fündig. Die Telefonbücher verzeichnen unzählige osteopathische Praxen, Physiotherapeuten, die mit osteopathischen Techniken behandeln oder mit osteopathischer Medizin werben, es gibt akademische und nicht-akademische Osteopathen und osteopathische Ärzte: Das Angebot boomt und die Nachfrage hält Schritt. In die genannte begriffliche Vielfalt mischen sich häufig auch die Begriffe „Manuelle Therapie“ oder „Chiropraktik“, welche oft synonym zu „Osteopathie“ verwendet werden.
