Abstract:

Strong and inadequate pain aſt er injury or operation should be recognized as possible complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). For osteopaths and doctors it is important to know the actual diagnostic criteria in order to start early treatment, in which functional restoration is the key goal. New guidelines date from September 2018. Abstract original language Starke und inadäquate Schmerzen nach einem Trauma oder einer Operation (ganz selten auch spontan) sollten immer auch an einen Morbus Sudeck denken lassen – heute meist „complex regional pain syndrome” (CRPS) genannt. Gerade auch für Osteopathen ist es wichtig, die aktuellen Diagnosekriterien zu kennen, damit der Patient rasch behandelt werden kann. Die funktionelle Restitution steht mittlerweile im Vordergrund der Therapie. Im September 2018 sind neue Leitlinien erschienen.
