Abstract:

Scientific equivalents can now be found for complex osteopathic terms such as potency, tide, fulcrum, primary respiratory mechanism (PRM) and also energetic aspects, which enable a communicative exchange with other scientific areas. In particular, the participant aspect, which Rollin Becker already brought up as the participation of the osteopathic practitioners in the palpatory relationship with patients, can be illuminated in this way.

Für komplexe osteopathische Begriffe, wie Potency, Tide, Fulkrum, primär respiratorischer Mechanismus (PRM) und auch energetische Aspekte lassen sich heute naturwissenschaftlich Entsprechungen finden, die einen geeigneten kommunikativen Austausch mit anderen naturwissenschaftlichen Bereichen ermöglichen. Besonders der Teilnehmer*innenaspekt, den schon Rollin Becker als Beteiligtsein der osteopathischen Behandler*innen in der palpatorischen Beziehung mit Patient*innen aufbrachte, kann dadurch beleuchtet werden.
