Abstract:

Where could you get it if not by stealing? This was the question posed in the times of Still whenever one had to provide “illustrative material” for education. In the article “Adventure of providing cadavers”, Christian Hartmann describes the search - not totally legal - of anatomical preparation objects during the centuries.
