Abstract:

This study evaluated leadership in the osteopathic profession, usage of osteopathic manual medicine skills, research and teaching experience, and engagement in osteopathic scholarship activities in three groups: all graduates who completed the TCOM OMM Pre-Doctoral Fellowship program, an equal number of graduates who completed the OMM Teaching Assistant program, and an equal number of TCOM graduates who did not participate in either the OMM Fellowship or the TA programs. Academic variables of MCAT, undergraduate GPA, graduate GPA, and COMLEX I and II were compared between the respondent groups.
