Abstract:

Homeostasis uses functional and MLF techniques. These include strain and counter strain, facilitated positional release, Sutherland’s joint technique, and the fascia techniques. As a basis for the explanation of the latter, a functional continuity between the muscular, fascial and ligamentary structures is assumed but not necessarily proved.

Funktionelle und MLF-Techniken dienen der Homöostase. Zu ihnen zählen Strain-Counterstrain, Fazilitierter Positional Release, Sutherlands Gelenktechniken und die Faszientechniken. Als Erklärungsansatz für Letztere wird eine funktionelle Kontinuität zwischen den muskulären, faszialen und ligamentären Strukturen angenommen, die aber nicht bewiesen ist.
