Abstract:

The glandular tissue of the female breast, which is often neglected during osteopathic training may be the cause of different decompensations. Very big breasts or mastopathies can lead to a strong tension in the breasts. Osteopathic therapy is often a good treatment for adhesions. In galactostasis and mastitis, the breast can be treated indirectly in acute cases or even directly if the patient is pain-free.

Das Drüsengewebe der in der osteopathischen Ausbildung oft vernachlässigten weiblichen Brust kann Ursache für unterschiedliche Dekompensationen sein. Sehr große Brüste oder Mastopathien können zu einem starken Zug in die Brüste führen. Adhäsionen lassen sich osteopathisch gut therapieren. Bei Milchstau und Mastitis kann die Brust in Akutfällen indirekt, bei Schmerzfreiheit auch direkt behandelt werden.
