Abstract:

A pressure exists within the three main cavities of the body – the skull, the abdomen, the thorax. These pressures that are connected to each other are not constant, but vary within certain values. Longtime pressure alteration though can cause multiple changes, that may lead to dysfunctions in the cranial, parietal or visceral system. The following article describes, where and in what manner these dysfunction may evolve.

In allen drei großen Kavitäten – dem Bauchraum, dem Brustkorb und dem Schädel – besteht ein Druck, der jeweils mit den anderen Drücken in Relation steht. Dabei ist der Druck nicht konstant, sondern weist Schwankungen auf. Vor allem langfristige Veränderungen des Drucks können multiple Veränderungen nach sich ziehen, die auf parietaler, viszeraler und auf kranialer Ebene zu Funktionsstörungen führen können. Der folgende Beitrag beschreibt, wie und wo solche Funktionsstörungen auftreten können.
