Abstract:

The article introduces a possible problem complex consisting of mainly chronic symptoms in the cranio-cervical area, in which the oculo-vestibulo-cervico function model comes into use and plays a key part. Details from the area of neuroanatomy help the reader to understand specific individual functions according to the holistic concepts of diagnosis and therapy in traditional osteopathy.

Der Artikel führt ein in den möglichen Problemkomplex im kranio-zervikalen Bereich bei vorwiegend chronischen Beschwerdeverläufen, die das okulo-vestibulo-zervikale Funktionsmodell mit einbeziehen bzw. ihm eine Schlüsselposition zuordnen. Details aus der Neuroanatomie helfen, spezifische Einzelfunktionen nach dem ganzheitlichen Diagnose- und Therapiekonzept der traditionellen Osteopathie zu verstehen.
