Abstract:

According to Viola Frymann intraosseus lesions in newborns should always be treated before membranous and sutural structures. The foremost areas are the temporal bone (recurrent ear infections, hearing problems and statomotoric abnormalities) and the sphenoid bone (visual problems). Their embryological development and osteopathic treatment according to Frymann is described in detail using illustrations.

Viola Frymann zufolge sollten intraossäre Läsionen bei Neugeborenen immer vor membranösen und suturalen Strukturen behandelt werden. Im Vordergrund stehen dabei das Os temporale (rezidivierende Otitiden, Hörstörungen und statomotorische Auffälligkeiten) und Os sphenoidale (visuelle Probleme), deren embryologische Entwicklung und osteopathische Behandlung nach Frymann anhand von Abbildungen genau beschrieben wird.
