Abstract:

The recent phenomenological study by Eccott et al. (2024), “Lessons learned from the digital transformation of physiotherapy education,” provides timely insight into how the rapid shift to online learning has reconfigured professional formation in physiotherapy [1]. The authors’ identification of “disembodiment with anatomy” captures a fundamental pedagogical dilemma: how can health professions education preserve embodied knowledge—the essence of clinical practice—within digital learning environments?
